La Diablesse
A she-devil whose poise, figure and beautiful dresses hide her cloven hoof. She lures unsuspecting young males to the Silk Cotton Tree where she kills them. The young man can make a cross with two sticks and the La Diablesse will disappear.

Lagahoo
The Lagahoo takes the form of a man who roams the night with a wooden coffin around his neck. He has no head and heavy iron chains trail from his waist. A stick anointed with holy water and holy oil for nine days is needed to kill the lagahoo.

Lamb's Tail Orchid
"...Epidendrum coronatum, a common inhabitant of cocoa plantations, flowering in the dry season. It's pendulous growth shape and clusters of white flowers inspired its local sobriquet: Lamb's Tail Orchid."
