Gang Gang Sarah
Gang Gang Sarah was an African witch who ended up in Tobago searching for her family. She is remembered for her wisdom and kindness. When she tried to return to her native land, she climbed a great silk cotton tree and tried to fly, only to realize that she had lost the power of flight because she had eaten salt.

Gongora quinquinervis
"The Gongora quinquinervis could astound any observer. It is locally called Jack Spaniard because it calls the fierce wasp to mind. This orchid is not seasonal, but blossoms erratically, being pollinated by bees, descending into one flower after another. Its blooms come in true purple or pale cream and many variations of hue in between."
