Title: Blue Skies

Secret of the Stars won Band of the Year and Peoples' Choice Awards, 1973.
Male costume consisting of a standard, head piece, collar and suit. The standard is a series of blue and black cloud shapes, beaded on the edges and with streamers on either side. The head piece is a helmet with the varied clouds attached to the back of the head. The suit is a white, sequinned tunic with a cloud shaped collar and hem. The masquerader wears white tights under the tunic. The costume is completed by the fringed and beaded wristbands and and the similarly styled boots.

Title: Clouds Across the Moon

Description: Section in the band: New Moon.
Female costume consisting of a standard, head piece, loincloth, cape and suit. The standard is a red, black and silver pennant attached to a white pole. The head piece is a silver helmet, with a peaked front, silver ball fringe and a spray of silver beads on top, in front of a silver crescent moon. The suit is a one piece red bathing suit with silver inserts. The loincloth is white with a red border. The cape is white with red striped borders, attached to each shoulder. The costume is completed by the red, black and white banded arm and shinbands.

Title: Clouds at Sunset

Female costume consisting of a standard, head piece and suit. The standard is a gold beaded fan on a pole. The head piece is a gold, sequinned diadem, with a side fringe and gold bunches of feathers in the same colour. The suit is a gold bikini, similarly patterned; the pants have a wide, transparent overskirt with a feathery hem, split in the middle and open to the waist. The costume is completed by the wristbands to which the hem of the skirt is attached and the boots which are beaded on the front.

Title: Khatakali Moon Dancer

Female costume consisting of a head piece, waist piece and suit. The head piece is a jewelled crescent moon on a helmet, decorated with beads, stars and feathers on the edge of the crescent. The waist piece is a transparent skirt on a frame around the waist, decorated with beaded suns, moons and hemmed with fluffy clouds. The suit is a patterned, one shouldered catsuit with a short stole on one shoulder, beaded with jewels. The costume is completed with the beaded shinbands, upper armbands and wristbands, to which are attached strings of pearls.

Raining was created for London carnival, 1992.
Female costume consisting of a head piece and suit. The head piece is a silver, purple and metallic blue helmet adorned with feathers, lightning bolts, pearls and flowers and with a mesh fascinator or veil over the eyes. The suit is a 17th century style, short sleeved dress with a large pannier frame underneath. It consists of a deep v neckline with an off-the-shoulder bodice enhanced with feathers, pearls and lace. The skirt is made in three draped layers enhanced with feathers, pearls, flowers and lace. The dress has an uneven hem in mesh.The masquerader carries a posy made of feathers, flowers and lightning bolts. The costume is completed by the elbow length white gloves.

It consists of a deep v neckline with an off-the-shoulder bodice enhanced with flower sprays on the shoulders and the hips of the skirt. The skirt is made in three draped layers enhanced with flowers. The dress has an uneven hem in multiple layers dripping with pearl fringe.The masquerader carries a furled lace umbrella.

Female costume consisting of a standard, head piece, stole and suit. The standard is black and silver lightning bolt on a pole. The head piece consists of silver lightning bolts emerging from a storm cloud on a silver diadem. The suit is a cold-shouldered mini dress with a lightning pattern down the middle and a fluffy hem of clouds. The stole is black, fringed on the hem, patterned with a lightning bolt and fastened on one shoulder. The costume is completed by the wrist and armbands which have either clouds or lightning bolts attached and the silver half boots.

Male costume consisting of a head piece, back piece, waist piece and suit. The head piece is a red helmet with gold beaded spikes projecting around the crown. The back piece is a red setting sun in front of clouds of purple and gold and rays of golden sun behind them. The waist piece is a mass of clouds in purple, gold and red which surround the masquerader. The suit is a purple catsuit with a top decorated with gold sparkling sunbursts. The costume is completed by the wide topped gold beaded boots.
