Title: Sea Fan
Author: Berkeley, Wayne
Description: Section in the band: Cirque des Follies.
Band created for St Maarten carnival 1997.
Cirque des Follies won Band of the Year in the 1997 carnival competition.
Berkeley: Cirque des Follies is a great mixture of costumes and situations, taken from the Follies Bergere and influenced by the 'Cirque du Soleil'. All the costumes are pure fantasy, and do not relate to any given place or time. It is more like a spectacle, a show of costumes, and in some way relates to jewelry.
