Mirage won Band of the Year in the 1994 carnival competition.
Male costume consisting of a standard, djebellah and cape and costume. The standard is a tall silver palm tree. The Arabic djebellah or hooded cloak is white, very long, gold fringed at the end, converting to a cape that has a blue, red and gold patterned border that looks American Indian or Mexican. The djebellah is held in place by the Arabic styled gold braid with blue beads on the forehead. The costume consists of a pair of blue bathing trunks over which is a red and gold striped belt with a round gold buckle and from which hangs a narrow white ankle length loincloth that is attached to each ankle, forming a blousy effect.

Female costume consisting of a green one-piece bathing suit, head piece, and apron. In the back of the costume seven green leaves rise from the waist to above the masquerader's head, creating a fan-like image. In the front, there is an apron decorated with fuschia pink flowers. Two green leaves extend downward from the skirt. Large pink flowers in the hair, green armbands and fuschia coloured fabric draped from the back of the costume to the right arm complete the costume.

Title: Ocean Devil

Amarant won Band of the Year in the 1998 carnival competition.
Amarant is the name of a flower reputed to have grown in a secret maze in the legendary city of Atlantis; made up of two dormant butterflies in the form of a flower, only lovers who touch the flower can bring the butterflies to life.
Male costume consisting of a standard, head piece, cape and suit. The standard is a large jellyfish which has tentacles in the colours of lilac, green and yellow. The head piece is a simple lilac diadem. The suit is a pair of teal bathing trunks. The cape has a gold bead edge with tentacle like fringe in the same colours as the standard. The costume is completed by the gold armbands and the peaked gold greaves on the legs.

Band created for St. Vincent carnival, 2006 - "All the Winds That Affect Life".
Female costume consisting of a standard, head piece, collar, suit and overskirt. The standard is a cobalt blue, acquamarine blue and white pennant. The head piece is a helmet of two golden sea fans with a spray of white pearls hanging down one side of the head. The collar is the two shades of blue and white. The suit is a one piece yellow bathing suit with a net overskirt in green and gold and edged in a fabric with a blue triangular pattern. The costume is completed by the banded armbands in blue, white and gold.

Description: Male costume consisting of a head piece, shields, lance, loincloth and suit. The lance is a black stick. The head piece is a pink diadem, tied on one side, the ends of which have tassels; a tall pink feather is attached to the back, emerging from small orange ones. Two pink, purple and orange shields are fastened to the upper arms by orange armbands. The loincloth is decorated with a pink star on a purple and orange background, white fringed and falls from an orange belt. The suit is a pair of black bathing trunks. The costume is completed by the orange wrist and kneebands, the shinbands have orange and pink patterned tops and long white fringe and the white moccasins.

Male costume despicting a well known cactus, consisting of a standard, head piece, sash and suit. The head piece and sash are green and silver which represents the young plant that bears a long, wavy silver beard. The sash is worn across the body and the head piece is long and shaggy. The suit is a pair of green bathing trunks and the masquerader wears a legband and armband in the same style and fabric. A simple white pole is carried in the hand.

Title: Opaline Cluster

Les Bijoux placed 2nd in the 1997 carnival competition.
Female costume consisting of a head piece, combined shoulder and breastplate. The masquerader wears a head piece which consists of a cluster of jewelled flowers in an oriental shaped helmet arising from a gold branch that frames the face. The flowers are white opals enhanced with dark blue opals on a silver and gold metallic helmet. The combined shoulder and breastplate have the same design as the head piece however the branch is reversed, starting at the shoulders with the flowers projecting down towards the feet. The suit is a one piece white bathing suit with white armbands. Silver chains are attached to one armband which loop across the breastplate and then hang from the other side of the masquerader.

Title: Oriental Fantasy

Band created for St Maarten carnival 1997.
Cirque des Follies won Band of the Year in the 1997 carnival competition.
Berkeley: Cirque des Follies is a great mixture of costumes and situations, taken from the Follies Bergere and influenced by the 'Cirque du Soleil'. All the costumes are pure fantasy, and do not relate to any given place or time. It is more like a spectacle, a show of costumes, and in some way relates to jewelry.
Female costume consisting of a suit, headdress and back piece. The head piece is a helmet made of branches of white flowers on gold stalks, with a pink and white floral coronet on the crown and gold taselled combs hanging on either side of the temples, in the oriental geisha fashion; strings of white pearls are suspended from the combs. The suit is a one piece pink sequinned bathing suit with strings of pearls hanging from one hip. The back piece consists of pink feather boas attached to large purple fronds, worn low on the back almost to the hips. The costume is completed by a pair of pale pink elbow length gloves and a pair of tights patterned with a black lacy design on the shins.

The sash is purple with a black fringe. The suit is a pair of purple bathing trunks. The costume is completed by the purple and black banded shin and armbands.

The masquerader wears a head piece and carries a hand piece in the shape of an arched fan. The fan is made of straw and is coloured in shades of lilac with a broad pink border. There is a pink mesh sash worn around the waist and the costume is completed by a silver and lilac necklace.
