Also, from the neck are beads that go around the chest. In hand is a circular design made out of fine sticks. The head piece consists of fine sticks of fabric projecting upward.

Male costume consisting of a head piece, tunic, back piece, suit and torchlight. The head piece is a black and white helmet with an attached eye mask and a green and white diadem. The tunic is black and white striped, reaching to the knees. The back piece is a pair of arched wings, striped in green and black on one wing and plain green on the other. The suit is a pair of black bathing trunks. The masquerader carries a torchlight which emits a green light.

Male costume consisting of a head piece, hand piece and suit. The head piece is a gold, segmented fan, each segment of which is edged in blue and with a pink edged black Japanese symbol on it. The hand piece is an octogon in the colours of blue, purple, black and yellow. The suit is a pair of baggy blue trousers, with a gold belt, that has a broad white trim in the middle of the thighs patterned in blue and black. The costume is completed by the armbands that are similarly coloured as the octogon and the white boots.

Male costume consisting of a standard, head piece, sash and suit. The standard is a gold curved object, probably a weapon on a blue and black striped pole. The head piece is a black helmet with a havelock or neck protector and a crown of black spikes. The sash is blue with gold medallions, worn across the body. The suit is a pair of trousers baggy to the hknees and narrow shins, in an irridescent colours of blue, pink and gold. The costume is completed by the similarly styled and coloured armbands and the white boots.

Title: Zebra

Mirage won Band of the Year in the 1994 carnival competition.
Male costume consisting of a head piece, standard and suit. All the pieces work together to look like a zebra. The head piece is attached to a tight helmet with a black mane. The face of the masquerader is painted black and white like a zebra's. The suit is a full body suit also in zebra stripes with a tail hanging behind. The standard is a zebra striped flag with an uneven hem. The costume is completed by a hairy flyswatter held in one hand and knee high black boots.

Title: Zebra Stripe

Description: Male costume consisting of a head piece, back piece, collar and suit. The back piece is an arc of green and black stripes, separated in the middle like two wings. The head piece is a zebra's mane and the masquerader's face is painted to look like a zebra. The collar is black and white stripes. The suit is zebra patterned tights tucked into black half boots. The costume is completed by the zebra patterned armbands.

The neck piece has a green piece of fabric to the middle and fine sticks of fabric projecting outward forming the triangular shape. The head piece consist of a green piece of fabric wrapped around fine sticks that project upward.

Title: Zulu

Description: Female costume consisting of a shield, head piece, loincloth and suit. The shield has a black and white zebra pattern with a white border. The head piece is made of a white hairy mane with a long tail that falls down the back to the floor attached to a diadem that has white chains attached to each side. The suit is a silver and black studded tunic like piece, with a demi bra that is fringed and falls into a beaded strings that drape over the hips to the back. The loincloth is layered in green and black and white, both with fringe and a green studded silver belt. The costume is completed by the black and white banded shinbands which are attached to the black shoes and the hairy armbands.
