Les Bijoux placed 2nd in the 1997 carnival competition.
Female costume consists of a one-piece bathing suit, head piece and piece attached to the seat of the masquerader's pants. The colours depicted are various shades of gold: white gold, yellow gold and red gold. The head piece and seat piece consist of two parts: a gold radiating sunflower attached to the front of the varying long feathers. The head piece has an additional fringe of diamonds falling along the base of the head piece. Red armbands complete the costume.

Falling from the waist is a rectangular design with stripes. Around the neck is a round black neck piece with stripes on it. There is a yellow head band with a soft fabric flowing out of it on one side. In hand is a mask with fire coming out of it. The face is painted in black and white and there are beads falling from both arms.

Title: Cancer

All That Jazz placed 3rd in the 1978 Band of the Year carnival competition.
Male costume consisting of a standard, back piece, cape and suit. The back piece is a large crescent moon with a flaring sunspot in the middle and a set of shooting stars projecting out of one side. The standard is a crescent moon on a pole with a shield with a crab image. The cape is made of layered white, blue and grey spikes interspersed with stars. The masquerader wears a necklace with a large round medallion with the symbol for the cancer sign. The suit is a long sleeved patterned catsuit tucked into white boots. The costume is completed by the strings of beads draped around the arms and the arm and shinbands.

Title: Candy Cactus

Mirage won Band of the Year in the 1994 carnival competition.
Female costume consisting of a head piece and suit. It depicts the fruit produced by cactus found in deserts and the meaty centres of which are mixed with sugar to make "cactus candy". The head piece is a replica of the cactus plant attached to a helmet. The suit is a one piece black, asymmetrical bathing suit with the pattern of the red cactus flower. A spiky green cactus is attached to one hip. The costume is completed by the red and black armbands and a string of beads carried by the masquerader.

Title: Canton Jade

Les Bijoux placed 2nd in the 1997 carnival competition.
Canton, the oldest and most cultural of the cities in Southern China, is world renowned for its mother-of-pearl inlay, ivory and jade earrings. For centuries, the possession of jade has been thought to give the owner power, knowledge, pure thoughts and long life.
Female costume consisting of a head piece, breastplate and a bikini. The costume is designed like a filigree necklace. Silver filigree forms a base for the jade stones that are suspended from a necklace and form a pattern across the torso to the silver chains that are attached to the wrist of the masquerader. The largest jade stone is suspended over the crotch of the costume which is a two piece green bikini. The costume also contains a filigree head piece consisting of a large central jade stone. Green calf bands complete the costume.

Title: Capricornis

Female costume which depicts the capricornis plant found in the desert of Northern Mexico consisting of a head piece, shoulder piece and suit. The head piece is a yellow capricornis flower worn on the crown of a yellow helmet. The shoulder piece is the green leaves and vines of the flower, spread like a cape from a tight neckband. The suit is a yellow two piece bathing suit and the costume is finished with a yellow flower attached to a green thigh band.

Title: Caravan

Male costume consisting of a robe, head piece, shoulder piece and standard. The standard is the vacuum formed head and neck of a camel wearing a bridle with green and red tassels and a red and white saddle which ends in a purple and red fringed cape which flows down the pole. The head piece is an Arabic styled head cloth held in place with a red beaded gold diadem. The suit is two pieces: a red and purple tent hem striped tunic with a gold fringed hem and a djebellah in light and dark green stripes worn over it like a cape. The costume is completed by a edged black armour piece worn over the neck and finished with a tassel at the pointed end.

The suit is a yellow one piece bathing suit with cut-out sides. The costume is completed by the gold wrist, shin and kneebands and the gold bead strings draped around the head, neck and wrists.

Strike Up the Band was inspired by George Gershwin's work of the same name.
Costume is another version of Chinese Chime. See record 115.
Male costume consisting of a robe, head piece, shawl, chestplate and backpiece. The robe is elaborate, gold with a red brocade pattern, with an eye shaped pattern on the hems and borders. A green shawl with gold fringe and red borders is worn over the shoulders like armour. Red tights with a gold belt and buckle are worn underneath. The chestplate is a large gold medallion with an image of two fish facing each other on a red background and a Chinese symbol in the centre. The head piece is a gold hat shaped like a Chinese pagoda with three tiers. The back piece is a gold circle decorated in a green and red crenellated pattern. The costume is completed by the tasseled gold cords carried by the masquerader.

Male costume consisting of a head piece, robe and suit. The head piece is a gold helmet with samurai like projections on the side and four interwining globes on top of the crown. The double layer, long white robe is edged in blue and red. The suit is a white loincloth, split to allow movement, also edged in the same manner as the robe and with a broad red cummerbund and a gold rope over it. The costume is completed by the traditional white stockings and the gold sandals worn over them.

The female costume consists of a one piece pink bathing suit with large puffed upper sleeves in multi-coloured stripes and narrow lower, black sleeves; a pleated pink mini train with a large bow is attached to the seat of the suit. The head piece is a tower of multi-coloured eggs on a helmet. The female costume is completed by the knee high black boots.

The suit includes a pair of tights, one leg yellow, the other purple. The costume is completed by the shoes with turned up toes.

Costume is another version of The Character Chinese Chime, inventory number 317.
Male costume consisting of a robe, head piece and standard. The robe is elaborate, floor length, red with gold fringe and an eye shaped pattern as borders. Simple green bathing trunks with a gold belt and buckle are worn underneath. The standard is a large gold medallion on a red pole; the medallion has an image of two fish facing each other with a Chinese symbol in the centre. The main image is surrounded by a bezel of studs and topped with a pointed Chinese design. There is a long tassel hanging from the base of the medallion. The head piece is a gold hat shaped like a Chinese pagoda. The costume is completed by a gold rattle with a tassel, carried by the masquerader.

Female costume consisting of a head piece, suit, cape and hand pieces. The head piece is a gold, green and blue helmet that extends in a peak on the forehead of the masquerader, with wings on either side that have a scale like pattern; acquamarine blue narrow feathers are projected from the crown of the head piece. Armbands extend the length of the arm in a triangular pattern of acquamarine blue, purple, green and gold. The cape consists of acquamarine blue and purple feathers that has a gold shawl collar and fringed gold lapels held together with a snowflake in front. The floor length skirt is in the same pattern as the armbands and is split in front to the waist; this is topped by an elaborate gold belt with tentacle like fabric hanging to the calves, each of which are decorated with a jewelled applique and jewelled loincloth. The two hand pieces are irregularly shaped swathes of fabric in gold and acquamarine blue attached to short poles and waved by the masquerader.

Female costume consisting of a back piece, head piece, cape, train and suit. The back piece is made up of strands of beaded wires, forming a frond on one side of the body, in red and white. The white cape, beaded in similar fashion is attached to the back piece, as though they are one, with medallions holding it in place at the hips. The cape is patterned like black and white piano keyboards, each of which is edged in red and white beads. The train is white with beads and edged in red, attached to the back of the body. the head piece is a helmet beaded in white, red and black. The suit is high necked, one piece, with the top beaded, the torso in red beaded black fishnet and the pants embossed with a beaded loincloth. The costume is completed by the music note mesh stole across one arm, the elbow length red gloves and the beaded and jewelled shinbands.

The suit is a sequinned blue, one piece bathing suit with two asymmetrical white stripes, a pair of smoky blue pants over the suit and a grey loincloth tucked into the pants. The cape is grey/blue with light and cobalt blue stripes at the hem. The costume is completed by the light and dark blue, grey and white, banded arm and legbands.

The back piece is made up of fan shaped gold pieces with a pink, black and white circular pattern from which are projected long, narrow pink and purple feathers. The head piece is a vacuum formed cockerel's head in gold and red with the gold beak projecting over the forehead on a gold helmet. The suit is a one piece bathing suit in an elaborate gold and red swirling pattern. The tail consists of the pink and purple feathers projecting outwards from the hips. Gold comb like forms fall down the thighs from the hips. The costume is completed by the gold embossed upper and wristbands and the gold roman style footwear.

There is a combined chestplate and necklace, which starts as a wide black collar edged in white, with black and pink petal shapes, extending to a pink edged black chestplate that narrows down to the bathing trunks which is in a black, white and pink camouflage pattern. The costume is completed by pink, blue and gold banded arm and legbands.

Les Bijoux placed 2nd in the 1997 carnival competition.
Female costume which consists of butterfly wings, body suit and armbands. The Greeks use the word "Krystallos" meaning "clear ice" derived from the transparency of crystal. The wings are shaped like butterfly wings, with blue backgrounds and encrusted with diamonds. The body suit is a one piece light blue bathsuit, shaped like a corset; from the breastbone hangs a diamond pendant spray. A diamond loincloth is worn over the suit the seat of which displays a light blue train. A single large diamond worn in the hair and blue armbands complete the costume.

The suit consists of a lavender coloured strapless bodice with detached white filmy sleeves, banded in the same fabric as the bodice. The skirt is made in three tiers of different fabrics, in blue and white, purple and orange and white. The costume is completed by the black shoes.
