Hale refers to the "hale file" candy made in Trinidad and Tobago, which resembles a rope and can be pulled and stretched out.
Girl's costume consisting of a head piece, suit and hand piece. The head piece is made like a shaved head with a long braid falling from the crown. The suit has a metallic breastplate with black and white straps, the trousers are pink, with a black waistband and stripe down the sides of the legs, which frame an inset white piece. The masquerader holds onto a piece of white rope. The costume is completed by the silver wristbands.

Title: Harem

Heromyth won Band of the Year in the 1989 carnival competition.
Female costume which consists of a neck piece, breast plate, tall head piece and armbands. A large turquoise feather with a diamond spine supported by a diamond hoop forms the back piece. The head piece is a diamond encrusted helmet with a peaked top and ear pieces that are oriental in appearance. The blue armbands resemble small flared skirts. A purple bikini top is covered by a large silver neck piece from which are suspended several silver bead necklaces that drape around the belly and sides to the back. The blue bikini pants are covered with a purple loincloth that flows both front and back and is fringed at the ends. A pair of silver knee high roman sandals completes the costume.

Strike Up the Band won Band of the Year in the 1993 carnival competition.
Strike Up the Band was inspired by George Gershwin's work of the same name.
Female costume consisting of a back piece, shawl and suit. The back piece is a large gold harp extending high above the masquerader. The suit is a blue bikini, beaded in gold with a small fringe hanging from the bra and a larger one over the pants. A white, diaphonous shawl is draped over the masquerader's shoulders. The costume is completed by the floral diadem on the head and the floral epaulettes attached to the shoulders of the shawl.

Fire and Ice was designed for St Maarten Carnival, 1998.
Fire and Ice won Band of the Year in the 1998 St Maarten carnival competition.
Female costume consisting of a standard, head piece, cape, loincloth and suit. The standard is a yellow, red and black feathered fan on a black base decorated with flames, attached to a black pole. The head piece is a yellow helmet of spikes with a red, yellow and black feathered crest. The yellow cape is designed like a bat's wings, falling from the red armbands that have a string of bead fringe and also attached to the back. The suit is a yellow bikini, the bra of which is decorated with a bead brooch. The loincloth is flame shaped, in red, yellow and black, falling from the front of the bikini pants. The costume is completed by the black, yellow and red banded shinbands.

Male costume consisting of a head piece, standard and suit. The head piece is a gold helmet with a wavy ridge on its crown in yellow, white and red. The top of the suit is a yellow tank top banded in red while the pants are bicycle shorts striped in yellow and red. The single armband is also similarly striped. The standard is long, curved on top and straight and fringed on the end. The fabric is transparent with red waves over the main part however the curved top is yellow and has red images of the sun's rays with a white centre.

Fire and Ice won Band of the Year in the 1998 St Maarten carnival competition.
Male costume consisting of a head piece, cape and suit. The head piece is a gold helmet with curved ram's horns on either side. The cape is shaped like red, black and gold flames falling to the ground with a short gold capelet over the shoulders and a chestplate of gold scales in front. The suit is a pair of gold bathing trunks in a scale pattern with a gold studded belt. There is a long black tail attached to the seat of the costume. The costume is completed by gold studded arm and calfbands and a pair of knee high boots painted with an image of cloven hooves on the toes. Silver and gold chains are draped over the masquerader.

Male costume which contains a very tall standard, cape and bathing trunks. The standard has a flag which is trimmed in strips of shades of blue on the end. A green and blue poncho in a camouflage pattern, edged with white falls from the shoulders to the knee and has blue strips attached to the front. The head piece is a very long white shield shaped object attached to a diadem worn around the head of the masquerader. White banded blue calfbands complete the costume.

Attached to these hands are drapes that make a circular design to the back resembling a web.

The suit is a one piece black bathing suit with a gold lattice like pattern on the front and red epaulettes with gold fringe. The short train is navy blue, edged in gold. The masquerader wears knee high black boots with red ribbons. The costume is completed by the blue wristbands that have a gold lattice pattern on them.

Title: Hurricane

Band created for St. Vincent carnival, 2006 - "All the Winds That Affect Life".
Female costume consisting of a head piece, loincloth and suit. The head piece is a silver helmet topped with a long pole to which is attached two flags: one yellow and the other orange; the ends of these flags are attached to wristbands worn by the masquerader; orange and yellow scarves are draped from one side of the helmet. The suit is a yellow bikini, the top of which has a diamond shaped orange medallion with bead fringe and a tassel that drapes around the body to the back. The loincloth is black with a gold fringe and a gold snowflake pattern on it; the bead strings also follow the same style as those on the top. The costume is completed by the yellow upper armbands and the white roman style sandals worn by the masquerader.

Title: Hybrid Dragonfly

Amarant is the name of a flower reputed to have grown in a secret maze in the legendary city of Atlantis; made up of two dormant butterflies in the form of a flower, only lovers who touch the flower can bring the butterflies to life.
Male costume consisting of a standard, head piece, collar and suit. The standard is a black flag with a colourful, stylized dragon image. The head piece is a helmet with a yellow and orange dragon in flight. The collar is gold with blue and green enamel inlays. The suit is a pair of baggy trousers in the same multi-colours as the flag, worn under a gold belt. The costume is completed by the black boots and the yellow, black and green armbands.
